Our Client Perth Airport is undergoing an exciting period of transformation and, as a substantial asset developer, operator and manager, they are currently undergoing a large scale redevelopment program to future proof aviation capacity. Exciting planning work is underway that will see Perth Airport undertake further substantial capital investment in facility developments.

The Opportunity
Scotford & Fennessy is working closely with Perth Airport to engage a suitably qualified Assistant Airport Planner to assist in the planning of terminal facilities and to provide the business with capacity planning for its terminal and aircraft parking requirements. Reporting to the Terminal Planning Manager this role will be responsible for analysing passenger growth data and emerging industry trends to determine capacity of terminal sub processes and triggers for expansion.

Further responsibilities will involve:

  • Working with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and performance of the existing terminal sub processes (i.e. non build solutions) Delivering technical guidance for the planning of terminal facilities Assisting with managing specialist consultants conducting studies in support of the planning process
  • Contributing to and assisting with studies being undertaken by the Planning and Approvals team
  • Involvement in and running various working groups

To be successful, the following criteria will be highly regarded:
Highly developed numeracy skills
Advanced MS Excel skills
Tertiary qualifications in mathematics, engineering or aviation. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
