About the role
We are currently looking for a Requirements Assurance Officer to join our technical services team. You will be responsible for analyzing requirements and requirement sets to ensure that syntactic and grammatical rules and characteristics defined in PTV’s requirements development processes are complied with (i.e. ACCURATE requirements: Atomic, Correct, Checkable, Unbiased, Realistic, Autonomous, Traceable, Explicit).

• Provide support to Engineers to develop technical standards for each key transport discipline
• Liaise with PTV stakeholders to ensure a unified approach to requirements development throughout the Victorian transport jurisdiction
• Provide support to the Requirements Manager with requirements traceability and requirements change control processes
• Provide ad hoc training in requirements development

What we’re looking for

• Experience in the use of a requirements management tool such as IBM DOORS
• Exceptional communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to maintain effective, robust, and professional relationships which benefit the organisation
• Good understanding of Transport system decomposition or partitioning to aid understanding of complex systems

Qualifications
Mandatory

• A tertiary qualification in engineering, science or mathematics

Desirable

• Experience in the use of a requirements management tool such as IBM DOORS
• Post graduate qualification in systems engineering, capability definition, engineering, risk management or equivalent suitable discipline
• INCOSE (SESA) Member
